Correct operation is the premise of the safe use of fixed bed reactors
Fixed bed reactor is a heterogeneous material reactor filled with solid catalyst or reactants. It has the advantages of small backmixing, effective contact between fluid and catalyst, and high selectivity when the reaction is accompanied by series side reactions. It is mainly used to realize gas-solid catalytic reaction. It is commonly used in the chemical industry. Like other chemical equipment, many external components of the fixed bed reactor are made of metal, and the fatal weakness of the metal is that it is easy to be corroded or oxidized by acidic substances. In the chemical reaction, chemical equipment will always be exposed to various acidic substances. In order to prolong the service life of the equipment, anti-oxidation treatment will be carried out before leaving the factory.
As a kind of chemical equipment, the operation of fixed bed reactor should strictly comply with the requirements. Although there is a safety device, as actual users, we should grasp the source and control the safe use in our own hands. If we want to use the fixed bed reactor safely, we must follow the correct steps.
Before start-up, keep the inside and outside of the whole equipment clean, confirm that all components are complete, and place the equipment in a ventilated place with explosion-proof and other safety protection devices. Check whether the surface pressure gauge, vacuum gauge, temperature gauge and other instruments are normal, whether the index is normal, and the oil level of reducer and other parts is normal. During the operation of the equipment, the operator shall observe frequently. During feeding, the material shall be fed evenly to prevent overflow. It is strictly prohibited to collide the centrifuge with a shovel or other sundries to prevent accidents.
After the equipment is started and operated, always observe whether the rotation of the equipment motor is normal, whether the rotating part has abnormal sound, and whether there is leakage at each sealing point. Strictly control the pressure and temperature inside the reaction device, and do not overtemperature or overpressure. In addition, the circulating oil system shall be frequently inspected or cleaned during daily maintenance, especially the iron filings and hard objects in the oil circuit system shall be blown and removed. After thorough cleaning, pour fresh lubricating oil into the oil tank, start the oil pump, and check the pump operation and oil circuit leakage.
